Organizations that work with women and gender equality.
Women for Women International
The mission of Women for Women International is to help women survivors of war rebuild their lives. Women for Women works in eight countries that have suffered from war and conflict, providing women with "tools and resources to move from crisis and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency." Women have incredible potential, yet endure the harshest oppression and poverty in the world. About 70% of the people living in absolute poverty are women. Women for Women is changing this through their sponsorship and training program where, for $30 a month for one year, you can help equip a woman with job skills and business training, educate her on her rights and value, and strengthen societal safety nets and networks. All Girls Allowed
All Girls Allowed's mission is to restore life, value, and dignity to girls and mothers, and to reveal the injustice of China’s One-Child Policy. Since 1980, the implementation of China’s One-Child Policy has led to female gendercide, abandonment of daughters, child trafficking and violations of women’s reproductive rights. Through education, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and legal defense, All Girls Allowed strives to expose the truth about the One-Child Policy, rescue victims of the One-Child Policy, and celebrate the work of bringing life, value, and dignity to girls and mothers.
